SIM4FLOW Selected for Nearly €0.5 Million EIC Pre-Accelerator Funding to Advance IRIS
SIM4FLOW is proud to announce a major milestone in its journey to transform intracranial aneurysm management through artificial intelligence: the company has been selected for nearly €0.5 million in funding under the highly competitive European Innovation Council (EIC) Pre-Accelerator programme.
The EIC Pre-Accelerator is a European programme designed to support high-potential early-stage deep-tech companies in Horizon Europe widening countries by advancing their technology, strengthening business and investment readiness, and preparing them for future scale-up. The successful PoC demonstrates the potential of combining deep learning with the underlying physics of cardiovascular blood flow, providing a promising pathway toward faster and more efficient patient-specific computational modelling.
Combining AI with Cardiovascular Physics
Traditional computational fluid dynamics can provide highly detailed information about blood flow and haemodynamics but can require substantial computational resources and time.
